Seven Hanging Valleys hiking route

A must for those who are into hiking. The hike takes you through some of the most spectacular coastal scenery of the Algarve.

The trail is a bit rough in some areas but still manageable and that Spring and Autumn are probably the best time of year to visit as most people will find it particularly challenging in the summer due to the higher temperatures.

Praia da Marinha

Praia da Marinha (in English: Navy Beach) is one of the most emblematic and beautiful beaches of Portugal, located on the Atlantic coast in Caramujeira, Lagoa Municipality, Algarve, and considered by the Michelin Guide as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Europe and as one of the 100 most beautiful beaches in the world. In 1998, it was also awarded with the distinguished "Golden Beach" award by the Portuguese Ministry of the Environment because of its outstanding natural qualities.
